Tesco Express Little Concern

A change from my usual posts as this time I'll be writing about how one major British company treats its customers like dirt. To find out which (if the blog's title isn't big enough clue) and how, read on.

Excrutiating Ezekiel Excretions

The following was posted on a Facebook page, “Atheism, Satanism, and Humanism vs. Biblical Christianity”, by Penny Amanda Stone, who I have mentioned before on this blog. The content of the picture, a quote from Ezekiel, needs a response.

Anti-theism Justified Again

Another wonderful example of why I am increasingly anti-theist, because theism can lead to the type of morally bankrupt thinking we will see here.

9/11 Eleven Years On

I write this eleven years to the day since terrorists decided to hijack several jets and crash them, along with the hundreds of innocent passengers, into US buildings, an act that would take the lives of thousands and leave the world shaken and facing an uncertain future. In those eleven years it appears we have learned very little.

Bad Attitude and Bad Admin

An examination of fine fundie fucktardery on Facbook with an old favourite from this blog, Eric Johnson Shrek, and somebody I don't think I've had the pleasure of venting over before, Daniel “Denial” Wood. This is what it's so often like trying to reason with those of whom it can best be said they are a few gospels short of a testament. The following took place on "Atheism vrs. Fundamental Christianity"

Archaeological A-holes for God.

One of the things that Christians regularly bring up in debate is how “archaeology supports the Bible!”. Does it? Really? No. Of course it doesn't. Here's why.

National Trust? National Disgrace!

I was passed the following link by Joe @ExpandingInward on Twitter, and it's deserving a quick blog.

The Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland is a wonderful natural formation of coastline rocks that has amazed many for centuries. Do we know how it was formed? Yes, we do. Was it in Noah's Flood? No, it was not. So here's my opinion on this insanity.

A Scumbag For God

I really need to vent tonight. I've just about had enough of some fundamental, and the emphasis is very heavily on the mental part, Christians on Facebook. If anybody wondered what sort of thing would have driven me from agnostic atheist to strong anti-theist, this is!

WARNING: If you find profanity offensive please do NOT read this particular post. If you enjoy profanity you might enjoy it.

A Nail In The Palm Of God!

Result! Tonight I scored a little victory for atheism and logic. I forced a Christian Creationist to admit that free will does not exist and god must have set up Adam and Eve! It was so damned easy I wish I'd thought of this years ago.

Bigoted Filth on Facebook

WARNING: I seriously let rip in this one, so if you object to bad language it might be best to do a Google image search for kittens instead.

Still reading? Don't say I didn't warn you. I shall begin ...

Absolute Morality? Absolute Bullshit!

One of the things that I see with some regularity on Facebook is that morals are absolute and that subjective or relativistic morals lead to immorality. So I thought I'd try a little thought experiment.

Christians, Hypothetically Speaking

Why is it that I've rarely found a Christian on Facebook who understands how hypothetical questions work? Seriously, it's like they've never encountered such a concept. I've asked different hypothetical questions on multiple occasions and almost without fail the responses from the Christian contingent completely misunderstand how the damn things work.

The European Cup

To save me time, just take the blog page linked here and change the picture to something about football.

Thanks.

Balogh, My Roll In Her Downfall

Regular readers of my blog (and thank you if you are) will be aware of Kim Balogh. She was the creator and admin of the Facebook page Atheism, Satanism and Humanism vs Biblical Christianity (ASHvsBC). Her mismanagement of that page is covered in more detail elsewhere on my site, just search for Balogh and you'll find plenty.

Sick As A Parrot

The following article appeared in the Salvation Army's magazine War Cry, dated 5th May 2012. Read through it and I'll meet you on the other side.

Shoot The Parents (or Guardian)!

I've touched on this subject in the past but once again find myself returning to it because it's still an all too frequent sight in the highstreet.

What is it about people, be they parents, grandparents or anybody else, who cannot grasp the simple concept that computer and console gaming has come a long way in the last 30 years and some games, ya know, might not be suitable for little Timmy, even if he does so badly want it!?

Shrek the Turd

So, Shrek, funny film, right? Yup, I agree. It is, as are the sequals. I love Donkey, he's hilarious. Anyway, as much as I'd like to discuss the merits of Dreamworks' masterpiece of animation, I'm here to talk of another Shrek, Eric Johnson Shrek to be exact.

Perfect Song Lyrics

It's not often that I find a song's lyrics perfectly echo my thoughts, but these do. The song is called Out In The Darkness by Martin Orford (lyrics by Steve Thorne) from the superb album The Old Road. You can find the YouTube video of the song here - it's rather wonderful.

Microsoft Pointless

Let me make something clear, I absolutely love my Xbox360. Were I to be forced at gunpoint to choose which one of my consoles I could keep it would almost certainly be that. However, I'm currently rather pissed off with the manufacturer, Microsoft, because they are – as far as I am concerned – trying to rip people off.

WWJD, Let Them Die?

Before I begin I'd like to make it clear that I'm not an expert on this subject, I'm just calling it as I see it and going by what I read on Twitter and Facebook (which I'll admit may not be the best source of information!)

I've seen repeatedly how the US would reject a UK style nationalized health service because it's 'socialist'. Well, let's set aside whether that statement is true or not and focus on what the actual issue is, avoiding some retarded notion we're living in the 50's under a McCarthy era reds under the bed regime.

Facebook's Foul Play

Let me make it perfectly clear, whilst I love Facebook I currently also despise Facebook because of the appalling way in which they allow people to abuse the report function to target both users and pages they dislike.

Lisa's Illogical Creationist Lunacy

Sometimes you read something so overwhelmingly stupid that you have to read it through twice to ensure you didn't misunderstand what was being said. The following is one such instance. It took place on the Facebook page “The Reliablility(sic) of the Bible put to the Test” and the person in question is Lisa Emery.

Debating the Dumb on Facebook

This is a conversation that started with the question of why God won't heal amputees. It took place on the Facebook page "The Reliability of the Bible put to the Test - probation" as detailed in my other blog update tonight, here

I'll spare you the majority of what was a futile attempt to talk sense to drooling morons and pick up where the page's creator, Charles Watson, enters - ready to make himself look dumb for our collective amusement. Enjoy!

Please note; I've changed my name to DawkinsDog, my Twitter name.

Christian Creationist Cretinations

Those familiar with my blog will have heard of a Facebook page “The Reliability of the Bible put to the Test”, as I described here

A few months ago saw several of us sanity mongers banned from that cesspit of stupidity, we suddenly found ourselves unable to access it and attempts to find out why were unsuccessful. I personally PM'ed the creator, Charles Watson, only to be told it was probably because I'd broken “rule 10”.
