A Tale of Cupcakes & Cretins

Here's a funny thing. You'd join a Facebook page called “Respectful Debate & Sharing Group” and expect it to offer just that, right? Oh how foolishly optimistic of you. Instead what you'd find is that the admin team remove you for confronting homophobes, bigots, reality dodgers and atheist baiters, then blame you for the most pathetic of reasons.

Let me give you an example.

So, Shrek, funny film, right? Yup, I agree. It is, as are the sequals. I love Donkey, he's hilarious. Anyway, as much as I'd like to discuss the merits of Dreamworks' masterpiece of animation, I'm here to talk of another Shrek, Eric Johnson Shrek to be exact.

Kim Balogh: Biblical Bigot

Another blog update featuring one of the most repulsive Christian fundamentalists I have had the misfortune to encounter on Facebook. I speak of course of Kim Balogh. If you are familiar with my blog you will already be aware of Kim, she is the creator/admin of “Atheism, Satanism and Humanism Vs Biblical Christianity”, a Facebook page so bereft of intellectual honesty from the creationist contingent that one often sits and stares at the screen in disbelief.

Heidi Carico; Mad, Bad or Evil?

Once again, we risk our sanity to touch on the ramblings of Heidi Carico. This time she has responded to a thread that hadn't seen use since the 3^rd December last year.

I'll go straight into her first post. The level of bigotry and ignorance jumps off the screen with this one!

Hatred from Heidi Carico

This is a hilarious little episode that highlights perfectly why I hate fundamental people, regardless of their religion.

I’ve mentioned Heidi Carico before. She is the venomous little troll who is all over the internet, spewing her poisonous anti-evolution, anti-atheist, anti-reality brain dribblings. She is a member of the Facebook page “The Death of Evolution”, a silly little page promoting a book of the same name. This page has recently died a death itself, which is a nice twist of irony.

I was going to write about something altogether different but, after the events of last night, I find myself once again rummaging in the retardation of the fundamental of faith.

There is a Facebook page by the rather charmless and imbecilic title of "Atheism, Satanism, and Humanism vs. Biblical Christianity". Doubtless this title was chosen to imply that Christianity is under threat from the others. It's not but, having said that, we are due payback for the Crusades, persecution of witches, murder of abortion clinic staff...
