One again we find ourselves returning to the fascinating, if facile, mind of Catherine Cook, she who advocates beating children when they’re young. This time we visit her pumping out her brainburps on the observation that evolution has traced our ancestors back to Africa .
How can they prove “we all came from Africa after humans branched off from their ape-ancestors approximately 5 million years ago?” Isn’t this racism? Actually naming the lesser cultures of Africa less intelligent than whites today? They actually draw pictures of apes that look like under-priviledged black people. Then they defend Hitler and people like Margaret Sanger who had their own species lists! Black African and Jewish were at the bottom of their lists! It’s funny how that still applies today!

We can prove we call came from Africa because we are able to trace back DNA to that region. It’s a complicated subject, one which I’m not fully conversant with myself, but I know enough to get by.
Evolutionary science talks of “Mitochondrial Eve”, who is believed to have lived in East Africa around 200,000 years ago and signifies the approximate time Homo Sapiens (us human apes) were emerging as a distinct species. Many Creationists, ignorant of the facts, have even pointed to “Eve” as being the Biblical one. She wasn’t. She is actually proof positive of evolution. Oh, I see, that IS what she was implying. We’ve already established this woman is a moron of Biblical proportions and this is merely over-egging the pudding of evidence.
Where has anybody in evolution mentioned “lesser cultures of Africa ” or claimed they are “less intelligent than whites today?”? These are solely in her own mind as far as I can see, which says a lot of how this woman views these people!

No sane atheist nor for that matter any sane human being defends the likes of Hitler. Perhaps she is not talking about the constantly God praising, evolution denying, atheist hating, self proclaimed Christian Adolf Hitler? No, she probably is. History is not exactly her forte; after all she does believe the Bible is historic fact!

What does? Atheists don’t tend to condemn others, not to the extreme degrees as those with an archaic book to hide behind. Atheists can’t counter accusations of ignorance by quoting scripture as a justification for their actions.
Catherine Cook is, without doubt, a prime example of all that is wrong with fundamental religion. Sadly I have encountered other examples of complete stupidity when it comes to history and science. Doubtless I shall regale you with tales of their inanity in the future.
To the credit of the Facebook page upon which Catherine Cook spewed this insanity, We CAN and we WILL find 1,000,000 Creationists by June 2011, the Admin did remove her post, along with a reply highlighting the stupidity of her argument. It’s a shame they do not remove all posts that display such ignorance and bigotry, but then the only posts remaining would be from pro-evolutionists most of the time!
