A Bit About Abortion

Today on Twitter I was accused of being immoral as I am Pro Choice. So, as it's difficult to squeeze anything like as much indignant bile into 140 characters, I'll do it here.

Before I continue, let me make it crystal clear that I DO NOT like the thought of abortions. I am, however, a pragmatist and I recognise that no amount of legislation, nor rabid bible thumping will change that. I should also state that I am in the UK, not America where the issue has reached such ludicrous levels that several abortion clinic staff have been murdered. You might think I have no right to opine as I'm not in America. Well, fair enough, but I'm going to anyway, so kindly hush and let me type!

Hatred from Heidi Carico

This is a hilarious little episode that highlights perfectly why I hate fundamental people, regardless of their religion.

I’ve mentioned Heidi Carico before. She is the venomous little troll who is all over the internet, spewing her poisonous anti-evolution, anti-atheist, anti-reality brain dribblings. She is a member of the Facebook page “The Death of Evolution”, a silly little page promoting a book of the same name. This page has recently died a death itself, which is a nice twist of irony.

Do you think abortion should be illegal? Being against abortion is fine and dandy, but are suggesting people should be charged with murder for performing abortions, and mothers be locked up for conspiring to kill someone?

The first reply came from Peter Erbacher, another example of an intellectually stunted simpleton. He said:

Pete Fiske, C**T!

Another day and another tale of the insanity that is the Creationist mind. This time we remove our socks and wade into the shallow end of the gene pool, splashing about a bit in what is the Outreach Director of the ORA's brainburps.

I was a member of the Origin Resource Association’s Facebook page where, as is my wont, I tried to shoehorn some reality into the minds of those to whom sanity is a foreign concept. These are guys that still believe the Earth is 6,000 years old so not exactly firing on all braincells.

Here is why, as of tonight, I am no longer a member there. Sitting comfortably? Good, then I shall begin …
